We all must agree that we love great food and many of us also love cooking great delicious food. There are many things that are needed to prepare a delicious and mouth-watering meal. Cook top is an integral part of any kitchen and can be found in almost any kitchen. There are many types of cook tops available in the market catering different cooking styles and preferences. You have electric cook tops, induction cook tops, and gas cook tops to name a few. The selection of cook tops depends upon your cooking styles and your preferences. Here is some detail regarding various cook tops.

Electric cook tops

As the name indicates, this cook top works on electricity, which is provided to a heating coil which gets heated and transfers heat to the cooking pot. Electric cook tops are not very efficient as compared to other types of cook tops. Also, they are not very appealing aesthetically but still many people use them due to unavailability of other means of cooking. They are also not very compliant in terms of safety as the heating coil is exposed and can cause problem especially when children are around. 

Induction cook tops

Induction cook top can be considered as the newest member of cook top family, and it works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The magnetic coil is covered with a ceramic pate, and when a ferromagnetic cooking pot is placed on the plate of the cook top, it is produces eddy currents in the cook top creating heat. The best thing about induction cook top is that it provides a very precise amount of heat to the base of the pot only, which prevents any loss of heat. One drawback of induction pot is that you cannot use any cooking utensil on it. Especially designed cookware with ferromagnetic properties and a perfectly flat base is used with them.

Gas cook tops

Gas cook tops are the most preferred way of cooking for most domestic and professional cooks. It is because the gas stoves provide you the best control over the heat, and hence, provide you faster cooking. People who love to cook food in a traditional way prefer cooking gas stoves. Additionally, they are not dependent on electricity and can be used in absence of power.

Another version of gas stoves is meethi angeethi cooktop. Meethi angeethi cook top is an innovative technology combining the traditional angeethi and modern gas stoves. You get all the benefits of angeethi, but you do not have to face the smoke and other problems caused by angeethi.
